بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَىAyah 1
87:1Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High,
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰAyah 2
87:2Who created and proportioned
وَٱلَّذِى قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰAyah 3
87:3And who destined and [then] guided
وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَخْرَجَ ٱلْمَرْعَىٰAyah 4
87:4And who brings out the pasture
فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحْوَىٰAyah 5
87:5And [then] makes it black stubble.
سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓAyah 6
87:6We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget,
إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰAyah 7
87:7Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰAyah 8
87:8And We will ease you toward ease.
فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰAyah 9
87:9So remind, if the reminder should benefit;
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰAyah 10
87:10He who fears [Allah] will be reminded.
وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَشْقَىAyah 11
87:11But the wretched one will avoid it -
ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰAyah 12
87:12[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire,
ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰAyah 13
87:13Neither dying therein nor living.
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰAyah 14
87:14He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself
وَذَكَرَ ٱسْمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰAyah 15
87:15And mentions the name of his Lord and prays.
بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَاAyah 16
87:16But you prefer the worldly life,
وَٱلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَبْقَىٰٓAyah 17
87:17While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلْأُولَىٰAyah 18
87:18Indeed, this is in the former scriptures,
صُحُفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰAyah 19
87:19The scriptures of Abraham and Moses.
